I always thought, “Wow, my skin is so darn dry, but somehow oily too.” Until the day I watched a youtube video by “Stephanie Lang” where she described her skin and explained the difference between Dry and Dehydrated skin.
Dry Skin: Lacks oil, Has dry patches, Needs oil, The solution is typically an oil based moisturizer.
Dehydrated skin: Lacks Water: A little more tricky to fix, and you can have both dehydrated and oily skin, or dehydrated and dry skin. I have Dehydrated and oily skin. So although I get black heads in my t-zone, I also get patchy dry flakes, and sometimes my makeup cakes on my face and makes it look like it’s peeling off. My saving grace for this problem has been Hyaluronic Acid. Which I’m sure you may already be aware of since this name is showing up as a trend on EVERYTHING!
- Already presents in the human body, making it easier on your sensitive skin
- Holds onto 1000 Times its weight in water
To get the most out of your Hyaluronic Acid:
- Apply while in the bathroom, after a shower. While Hyaluronic acid is GREAT at holding onto water, It does not create its own water, therefore it uses the water in its environment.
VICHY: Vichy has a few varieties from light to combination to rich. With no parabens, mineral oil, or silicon. (Allergy tested, hypoallergenic formula.)
Includes Mineralizing Thermal Water, allowing the Hyaluronic acid to have water to hold onto.)
AQUALIA THERMAL RICH CREAM
AQUALIA THERMAL LIGHT CREAM
Negatives: has a slight perfume scent, however does not affect my sensitive skin in a negative way.
** I received the Vichy Cream from Influenster complimentary for testing, however all views and opinions about Vichy are mine alone.
I love the “Ordinary Company” for a few reasons but the #1 is that they are affordable and not overly fancy, Check out their serums and see how they work for you.
Skin care is like dieting. You have to invest time and effort. There is no instant miracle cure.
