This beautiful hydration and growth spray is made with rosewater.
Rosewater is a mild astringent, this has been found to reduce oil and dandruff at the scalp, while the anti-inflammatory properties of rosewater help with other conditions like eczema, and psoriasis. As an added bonus for curly hair girls, rosewater has been shown to reduce frizz.
Lavender essential oil: By speeding up hair growth, lavender is essential in your hair growth spray. The antimicrobial properties reduce itchy scalp, dryness, prevent lice, (if you have a kid in school this will always be a worry.) and in a study with mice it was shown to increase the speed of hair growth. The mice where lavender was applied with a carrier oil had faster and thicker growth.
Rosemary Essential Oil: Rosemary oil improves cellular generation, and prevents cellular death. This means it will help improve the thickness of the hair. by preventing the hair follicle death and helping generate new ones. This also makes the hair grow faster.
Cedarwood Essential Oil – Cedarwood is understood to help promote your hair growth by balancing the oil glands in the scalp. This anti-fungl and Anti-bacterial essential oil is also used to treat dandruff and hair loss.
In a study with patients who have alopecia areata, it was found that the combination of lavender, rosemary and cedarwood helped prevent the loss of hair just as well as manoxidil. As well as those who used the essential oil combination reported no allergy, or itchy scalp side effects as opposed to the medical alternative.
Lastly we need a carrier oil, And this one is is up to you, My favourite is Jojoba oil, However you can use almond oil (make sure you or those you love do not have a nut allergy) Coconut oil, or argan oil.
